Almost 10.8 million of the 43.4 million uninsured in1997 were under the age of 18,the percentage of Americans getting coverage through their jobs that they have declined from 69.2% in 1987 to 64.2 in the year of  1997.  Four out of Five unisured americans were employed full time or lived with a person who had a full time job.  Do not make excuses health insurance is important to have so make sure you have it.
